Penne alla Vodka

Ingredients

  • 400g penne
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400g crushed tomatoes
  • 60ml vodka
  • 125ml heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Grated Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley

Preparation

  1. Cook the pasta al dente.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil.
  3. Add the vodka and let it reduce.
  4. Stir in the tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the cream and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss with the pasta, top with Parmesan, and serve with parsley.
